Hi there!
People I meet often tell me I’m someone who they feel like they’ve
known forever – and this is a compliment I take to heart. I love being part of the human experience, which is what drew me to capturing special days for amazing couples that want their memories to last a lifetime. Although I love being based in the New England area, I have been lucky enough to live all over the world before settling here, closer to family and lifelong friends. I worked in the fashion industry (both in front of and behind the camera), which has given me a unique perspective on what works in photography – and what doesn’t.
The first thing on my agenda is wanting to hear more about you, your relationship, what brought you together and what hopes you both have for the future. These might seem odd questions coming from a potential wedding photographer, but I’ve learned that the more I know about you, as a couple, the more I can capture the images, memories and feelings that makeup your unique relationship. I never shoot one wedding the same way I did a previous one. This is your special day. So these are going to be your individual pictures and reflect your unique style. I want to take the entire mystique out of the photography aspect of your special day. In other words, I want you to have one less thing to worry about – yet, ending up with too many choices when it comes to selecting your favorite shots.
So instead of telling you about how amazing my son is (he really is – trust me!), my precocious rescue dog (Rosie – she’s a hoot) and my love of raw oysters, sushi and spa days (not necessarily in that order), I want you to tell me about you.
